  My chin jerked up, eyes shocked.

  “You’ve been following me?” was my breathless whisper. “You’ve known about me?”

  The billionaire’s eyes gleamed.

  “Of course honey. You didn’t think I was going to let you walk away, did you? I made sure you were okay from a distance. It was the least I could do, and sweetheart, I wanted you to be okay. So I made sure of it from afar.”

  Suddenly, parts of the puzzle began to fall together. Because my rise in the business world has been meteoric, propelling me to new heights in the blink of an eye. How was it possible? How did an innocent girl with no connections and no money suddenly become a beauty mogul?

  But the answer was right here. Thorn had made it happen. He’d followed my career, making sure that the right people were interested, valuable opportunities coming my way. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’d purchased thousands of my products himself, just to keep the cash rolling in.

  And eyes wide with comprehension, I turned to him.

  “You did, didn’t you?” I asked slowly.

  Those blue eyes piercing, he nodded confirmation.

  “Of course,” that deep voice growled. “It was no trouble.”

  But I’d been trained well, and Thorn didn’t need to give me a prompt.

  “Thank you, Master,” were my soft words. “Thank you for looking after me.”

  His eyes were unfathomable, the blue so clear that my heart dipped. And slowly, the billionaire tipped my chin up with one finger.

  “We’ve made it this far, sweetheart. Clearly, neither of us can get enough. So will you walk with me? Will you let me be a part of our daughter’s life? You don’t have to promise now, but Minnie,” he swallowed, azure eyes blazing bright. “I don’t know what I’ll do without you. Both of you,” he amended. “You and Kayla mean the world to me.”

  And with that, I collapsed into the alpha’s arms, letting myself lean against the hard, muscular chest. Because Thorn and I started out wrong, definitely. He was my counselor and headmaster at Forest Hills. We shouldn’t have done what we did. The choices we made had been pure insanity, the craziness of love come to life.

  But I was never underage, and I always wanted to be with him. No one pressured me and everything happened because fate has a way of making itself known.

  Besides, there were more important things now. We had a baby together, and a business merger to think of. I jerked back for a moment.

  “So do you still want to buy my company?” I murmured, eyes wide. “Or was that just a ruse to meet me?”

  His white smile flashed.

  “A little of both, honey. Because Minnie,” he rasped. “I love you. I’ve loved you for so long now, baby girl, and when you walked out, I was devastated. Never leave again,” he commanded, eyes blazing fiercely. “You belong here. With me. Forever. Understand?”

  And what could I do but say yes? Because this is my man, and the father of my child. Kayla had been conceived in a storm of lust, passion and love. Yes, love had sprung between myself and this alpha, and the circle was complete now.

  So leaning forwards, I touched my lips to his perfectly sculpted mouth, our breaths mingling.

  Thorn

  I can still remember meeting Kayla for the first time.

  My precious daughter.

  Minnie arranged for us to rendezvous at a restaurant. It was easier that way, she explained. There would be waiters bustling around, the clink of silverware, and maybe even a kid’s menu to distract Kayla.

  So I strode into La Valle Lavandier, catching a glimpse of my girl immediately, that sweet form curvy and lush in a chair. But the tot was what made me stop.

  Because my daughter looks just like me. Charcoal hair with blue eyes, complimented by sweetly cherubic features. Minnie, looking up and meeting my gaze, bent her head and whispered in Kayla’s ear.

  And the little girl piped up immediately.

  I was an immediate goner. My heart swelled and burst, long strides bringing me to their table in seconds.

  “Hi,” I ground out, dropping a kiss on Minnie’s upturned lips. And shit, the woman always gets me. Because she was so ripe and luscious that I was ready to rip off her dress right here, right now, in the middle of a restaurant with our daughter in her lap.

  But those brown eyes sparkled.

  “Come join us, Gray. I’ve been telling Kayla about you for the last week, and she’s eager to meet.”

  The blue-eyed girl stared at me with curiosity.

  “You Dada?” she asked, picking up a spoon and banging it. “Dada?”

  I nodded slowly and solemnly.

  “I am, sweetheart. And I’ll be with you and your mom every day from here on out, you hear? Forever, honey bear.”

  The little girl grinned then, and shit, but she resembled me even more with that devilish spark in her eyes.

  Because Kayla’s a chip off the old block, and knows how to play her cards.

  “Okay Dada,” the sweet thing simpered, banging her spoon again. “Okay. Promise.”

  And that’s how we re-started our relationship. With our daughter between us, the bond between Minnie and I strengthened, matured, and grew even stronger than before. Because yeah, we walked the wilds. Our joining was illicit, for sure, way back when at Forest Hills. And that whole thing with Pat had been a fucking disaster.

  But you know what? We made it out alive. Pat is in jail now for assaulting a woman, and Minnie’s getting ready to change her name.

  I took her hand in mine.

  “It’s time, sweetheart,” I growled, looking down at the giant sparkler on her finger. “Are you ready to become Minnie Thorn?”

  And the female smiled rapturously, making my heart beat fast.

  “Yes, Master,” she said in a low voice. “I’m ready. But I have one request.”

  “What is it?” I growled, heart pumping hard. “Anything.”

  The beautiful brunette smiled again, although her voice was low.

  “I want you to put me in wooden stocks tonight,” she whispered. “My head and wrists bound up tight while you fuck me from below. Can you do that for me tonight, Master?”

  CHAPTER SIXTEEN

  Minnie

  He carried me and placed me on the sink and quickly removed his clothes. I stared at his naked body for a moment, wanting to see if there had been changes but found none. He was still as ripped and beautiful as I reme

  I wanted to cry right in front of him then. “If you want to.”

  Thorn smiled. “What’s her name?”

  “Kayla,” I answered, smiling. “She looks so much like you.”

  I watched as the corners of his lips twitched and then he looked at me seriously. “From now on, Minnie, it’s not just you and her. It’s the three of us. Will you be okay with that?”

  I leaned in and kissed him as tenderly as I could. “More than okay.”

  He let go of me for a moment and then grabbed something out of his suit. I stared, amused, at the sight of the cuffs. “Do you bring those with you everywhere?”

  Thorn smirked and then grabbed my hands, cuffing me on the bathroom door. “I knew I was meeting you. There was a likely chance that we’d revert back to what we used to do.”

  I looked at him, smiling. “I guess we get to do it all over again.”

  Thorn knelt down and rubbed my pussy. “You have a lot of apologizing to do, Minnie, for keeping that secret. Are you ready?”

  He stood up, naked and his dick in my view. “Yes, Master.”

  CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

  Thorn

  The first time I ever saw Kayla was forever imprinted in my mind and heart. All I could see of the little girl was her curly black hair that cascaded like waves down her back.

  Minnie smiled when she saw and I watched as she quietly said something to the little girl. At first I saw how the girl timidly turned around and when she faced me, my heart dropped.

  She looked breathtaking.

  “Hi!” she greeted me, smiling at me and showing her gap-toothed grin. “I’m Kayla!”

  I knelt in front of her and smiled back, cautiously. “Hello, Kayla. I’m Mr. Thorn.”

  She furrowed her eyebrows, glanced at Minnie for a brief second and then turned back to me. “Are you my Daddy?”

  I looked at Minnie and she just nodded slowly, giving me an encouraging smile. “Would it be okay to you if I am?”

  She surprised me by jumping out of Minnie’s arms and into mine. “Of course! You’re pretty.”

  I looked at Minnie when I said that and she just continued to stare at us, still smiling. She even had tears in her eyes. It was a picturesque moment but we didn’t have a souvenir for that day other than the memory that we had of it.

  And it was one of my best ones.

  “Daddy!” Kayla screamed the moment I stepped foot in our house.

  Minnie had agreed that they start living with me two months after we saw each other again. We started a real relationship since then, more than just sex. She let that apartment go to prove to me she was putting everything she had into us.

  “She almost got into a fight,” Minnie said, sighing. She smiled at me and kissed me on the lips lightly. “The teacher told me she screamed at him to give it back. I think our daughter has anger issues.”

  She was eyeing me suspiciously. I raised my eyebrows. “She surely didn’t get it from me. Have I’ve ever thrown a fit before?”

  Minnie laughed and just rolled her eyes. Kayla wandered back to her toys in the living room and I grinned when I spotted my son. Minnie got pregnant again, two years ago, and gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. We named him Cole.

  “Hey buddy,” I greeted him, tickling him on the sides.

  Cole looked at me with the same big green eyes as her mother. “Daddy!”

  I kissed his forehead and let him go as he tackled his older sister in a sibling hug. I sat down on the couch and looked at the kids. I never pictured myself having a family of my own. The thought had scared me, honestly.

  Minnie sat beside me and rested her head on my shoulder, interlacing our hands. She glanced at me and smiled, relaxing herself into me. Everything changed when I met Minnie. From a dominant who only wanted to fuck, I became a man who agreed with vanilla.
